Peraton was named, yet again, in this year’s VETS Indexes Employer Awards program. The ranking represents a testament of Peraton’s strong commitment to recruiting, hiring, retaining, developing, and supporting the military community.

As the most objective and comprehensive evaluation of veteran employers, the VETS Indexes Employer Awards program has set a new standard in veteran employment data. This year, a record number of organizations completed and submitted surveys for the VETS Indexes Employer Awards and only 294 were recognized by VETS Indexes. Only those organizations that demonstrated a strong commitment to veterans, members of the National Guard and Reserves, and military spouses were included in this year’s list. Participating organizations ranged from large and small companies, government agencies and departments to nonprofits, colleges, and universities.
The ranking is based on an in-depth survey and recognition program that analyzes employers’ policies, practices, and outcomes in detail, across the following 5 categories:
- Veteran job candidate recruiting and hiring
- Veteran employee development and retention
- Veteran-inclusive policies and culture
- Support for members of the National Guard and Reserves
- Military spouse/family support
