Peraton Chairman, President, and Chief Executive Officer Stu Shea has been recognized as one of WashingtonExec’s Top 25 Execs to Watch in 2021.
WashingtonExec commended Shea for his role in Peraton’s pending acquisition of Northrop Grumman’s integrated mission support and IT solutions business and the way Shea quickly pivoted Peraton to a telework environment in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Northrop Grumman acquisition will bring in over 6,300 highly skilled new employees to the company and aligns with Peraton’s goal of becoming a next-generation national security company delivering differentiated, proven, and secure technology solutions across a broad set of government customers.
It has become apparent in recent years that the national security, health security, financial security, and commerce security of our citizens are inextricably linked; as a result of the pending acquisition, Peraton will now be in a position to operate at this critical intersection.
During a challenging 2020, Peraton supported complex and critical federal missions using simple and proven collaboration technologies like Microsoft Teams. Thanks to Peraton’s secure, cloud-based IT infrastructure, employees were able to continue firing on all cylinders from home, sustaining productivity and keeping safe the hundreds of mission-critical employees who had to remain onsite.
WashingtonExec pointed out that in 2021, Peraton will triple in size to become a leading government mission capability integrator and mission critical IT provider focused on delivering high-end technology-enabled solutions to customers in the defense, intelligence, civil, and health agencies.
Shea was previously recognized by WashingtonExec in 2018 as a Top 25 Exec to Watch.
