As sector president, Tom has full executive responsibility for the Cyber Mission sector’s strategy development and execution, program performance, and growth objectives. The sector delivers full-spectrum cyber programs, and technical solutions that support intelligence, defense, and civil markets.
Prior to joining Peraton, Tom spent 17 years at Northrop Grumman in a variety of leadership positions. Most recently, Tom served as vice president, defense and intelligence, where he led a line of business that provided secure information technology and mission solutions to defense, intelligence, and civil security customers. He previously led businesses supporting federal civilian, public safety, defense and intelligence customers, and served in senior functional staff positions associated with operations, technology, and strategy.
Tom began his career at AT&T, where he held a variety of engineering and management positions of increasing scope and responsibility related to planning and operating optical networks. Tom is a member of the Industry Advisory Board of the Systems and Information Engineering Department at the University of Virginia.
Tom earned his bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from the University of Virginia and a master’s degree in electrical engineering from Stanford University.
