In 2021, Peraton grew sevenfold through acquisitions to form a next-generation national security company that delivers transformational enterprise IT solutions across our customers’ missions of consequence.

In 2022, we saw the results of our hard work integrating three heritage organizations and are proud to share some notable contract wins and industry accolades that demonstrate Peraton’s priorities and capabilities—and most importantly the value we provide for our customers, our partners, and to all Americans.

Peraton is trusted to solve the critical needs of our customers, building deep relationships and trust as we transform an enterprise—bringing together the best people, innovative solutions, and tested strategies to ensure mission success where national security is at stake.

The U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) awarded Peraton a task order to conduct background investigation services. Peraton’s background investigation services are the gateway for the federal and contracted USCIS workforce to receive a suitability determination, which is necessary for employees who must review immigrants’ backgrounds and process their applications.

The Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI) selected us to provide integrated, enterprise-wide management services that span the full ODNI enterprise, including communications, human capital, data analysis, knowledge management, partnership engagement, policy and strategy development, and intelligence integration.

The U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) chose Peraton to provide support services for the Data Center and Cloud Optimization (DCCO) program. We provide DHS with the associated professional services to automate, optimize, and modernize across the Hybrid Computing Environment (HCE).

The Department of State’s (DOS) Diplomatic Security Service (DSS) awarded Peraton a contract to help the Department protect its global IT infrastructure. Under the Diplomatic Security Cyber Mission (DSCM) Support Services contract, Peraton provides a full suite of cybersecurity operations support, including incident management, threat analysis, and penetration testing.

NASA selected us to continue operating the agency’s Columbia Scientific Balloon Facility (CSBF) in Palestine, Texas. We provide operational balloon flight support as well as engineering services. Our employees have supported NASA’s balloon operations for more than five years, assisting with more than 60 launches.

The Department of Defense (DoD) awarded Peraton* a Cyber Crime Center (DC3) Technical, Analytical, and Business Operations Services (TABO) task order. DC3 is a federal cyber center, DoD center of excellence, and is the operational focal point for the Defense Industrial Base Cybersecurity Program.

The Department of Defense (DoD) also awarded us a contract to provide agile analytic platforms and data management solutions. Peraton has a decades-long relationship with the DoD and, more broadly, extensive experience in providing technological solutions across the U.S. intelligence community (IC) and military.

DARPA awarded Peraton Labs a contract to design, develop, integrate, test, and evaluate a multi-domain network orchestration solution for its Mission-Integrated Network Control (MINC) program. Our proposed solution will not only enable joint all-domain operations but also provide a ‘leave-behind’ capability for continued development, integration, and use by third parties.

The Defense Health Agency’s (DHA) Military Health System chose us to serve as its Enterprise Information Technology Services Integrator (EITSI). Under the contract, Peraton will coordinate, integrate, and manage the DHA’s enterprise-wide IT transformation to consolidate services and reduce costs.

The U.S. Transportation Security Administration (TSA) selected Peraton* to operate, maintain, and improve TSA’s IT equipment, services, and processes. The company will support the entire TSA community, including approximately 85,000 federal employees, contractors, and support personnel at domestic and select international locations.

We also secured a number of contract awards for classified space programs, the largest of which furthers Peraton’s work developing of a first-of-its-kind integrated mission planning, processing, and infrastructure system for the protection of critical space assets.

Making a name for ourselves.

Peraton is a still a new name in our industry, but after integrating our capabilities and leveraging our strengths, we’ve taken the company to the next level in terms of scale and offerings. People have noticed.

Peraton vaulted from #96 to #25 in the annual Defense News Top 100 rankings of the world’s largest national security companies. According to Defense News: “Peraton joins Leidos, Amentum, and Booz Allen Hamilton as the largest U.S. government services contractors.”

We achieved Premier Tier Services Partner status in the Amazon Web Services (AWS) Partner Network (APN). Peraton works with customers across defense, intelligence, health care and civilian markets to leverage AWS services in GovCloud, Commercial Cloud Services (C2S) and commercial regions to achieve hybrid cloud-smart strategies. Less than 2% of Amazon partners within its network of 100,000 organizations in more than 150 countries receive premier tier status.

Forbes and The Washington Business Journal each recognized Peraton for its commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion (DE&I). Forbes added Peraton to its Best Employers for Diversity list while The Washington Business Journal ranked Peraton #10 on its Corporate Diversity Index – Large Companies in Greater D.C.

Peraton was also recognized as a leading employer of military veterans by three distinguished organizations—Military Times, The US Department of Labor and Viqtory—embodying its values to honor those who serve by being the employer of choice for veterans, their families, and military supporters.

We were named as a 2022 US Best Managed Company. The program, sponsored by Deloitte Private and The Wall Street Journal, recognizes outstanding U.S. private companies and the achievements of their management teams. Peraton is only Virginia-based company and only national security company to be recognized.

Peraton earned the Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI®) V2.0 Level 3 rating for Development and Services (CMMI-DEV, CMMI-SVC). The CMMI rating system identifies government contractors with a proven track record of productivity, cost efficiency, and work quality that decrease risks in software, product, and service development. The complex appraisal process assessed our approach to development and service solutions along with projects using traditional waterfall, hybrid, and Agile methodologies.

For the second year in a row, we were recognized with a U.S. Postal Service (USPS) Supplier Performance Award. The award is reserved for key suppliers who are deemed critical to the success of USPS’s operations or services in their respective commodity areas.

Peraton established and registered its first political action committee. Peraton PAC is one of the national security industry’s newest employee-funded PACs and will focus on supporting candidates who share Peraton’s business and policy priorities.
