GSA ASTRO

General Overview

GSA ASTRO is a family of 10 separate, individual, Multiple Award (MA), Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contracts that encompass a variety of services related to manned, optionally manned and unmanned platforms and robotics.

The 10 contracts, or Pools, are:

• Data Operations
  Data collection, processing, exploitation, and dissemination activities associated with manned, unmanned, and optionally manned platforms and robotics supporting mission performance. This includes traditional labor unmanned, and optionally manned platforms and robotics supporting mission performance. This includes traditional labor services as well as “as a service” support”.
• Mission Operations
  Mission Operations includes performance of operational services not included in Data Operations associated with manned, unmanned, and optionally manned platforms and robotics supporting mission performance. This associated with manned, unmanned, and optionally manned platforms and robotics supporting mission performance. This includes traditional labor services as well as “as a service” support.
• Aviation
  Maintenance, repair, and overhaul of manned, optionally manned, and unmanned aircraft.
• Ground
  Maintenance, repair, and overhaul of manned, optionally manned, and unmanned ground platforms and industrial machinery.
• Space
  Maintenance, repair, and overhaul of manned, optionally manned, and unmanned space platforms.
• Maritime
  Maintenance, repair, and overhaul of manned, optionally manned, and unmanned maritime platforms.
• Development and Systems Integration
  Systems integration, improvement, and/or engineering associated with manned, unmanned, and optionally manned platforms.
• Research and Development
  All R&D associated with manned, unmanned, optionally manned, and counter Unmanned Systems (UxS) platforms.
• Support
  All support services (except training) required for successful execution of a product, program, project, or process regarding platforms and robotics for land, air, sea, or space; the planning necessary to support operational missions; and the analysis of the results of an operational mission.
• Training
  All training (the providing of instruction) services required for successful execution of a product, program, project, or process regarding platforms and/or robotics for land, air, sea, or space.

Contract Insurance meets threshold stated in FAR subpart 28.3, and expires on 28 Apr 2023.
