The old saying goes that it takes two to tango. While it may not be a dance, the combination of Peraton and George Mason University’s Costello College of Business working together still results in a wonderful partnership.
Whether it is serving on advisory committees, providing scholarships, or opening doors to internships and career opportunities, Peraton is dedicated to the success of the university and its business school.
Similarly, the university reciprocates, offering Peraton the chance to support faculty and their research, talk with students, and provide platforms for the company to discuss its work and impact.

Recently the College of Business hosted Peraton along with other business partners to thank them for their engagement and support. Dean Ajay Vinzé spoke of how Peraton, like other companies, provides real-world experience for students and the support the College of Business needs to compete among its peers nationally and internationally.
The company gets just as much out of the relationship as the university does, said Matt McQueen, chief communications and engagement officer at Peraton, noting that more than 500 Mason graduates are Peraton employees.
“We are fortunate to have George Mason and the Costello College of Business in our backyard,” said McQueen, who serves as chairman of the university’s Honor College Board of Advisors and is vice chairman of the College of Business’s Baroni Center for Government Contracting board of advisors. “Students are receiving a world-class education from leading faculty who understand our industry. As a result, we benefit from having workforce-ready graduates who will serve as the next generation of innovators and leaders at Peraton.”
