At the end of last year, Peraton secured one of eight awards with the Department of the Navy, U.S. Navy PEO C4I and Space, Tactical Networks Program Office (PMW 160) for production of units, kits, modules, components, software, spares and development items for shore, surface, and submarine platforms.
The government has issued three delivery order (DO) proposals this year. Last month, Peraton was awarded two of three in the first DO totaling $18.6 million. The company was selected to continue the CANES mission and support the critical communication requirements of the Naval Fleet.
Under this firm fixed price contract, Peraton will deliver capabilities to destroyers, submarines, and mine countermeasure ships. The company will also deliver new infrastructure to U.S. Navy ships during their modernization availabilities enhancing operational readiness by increasing network reliability to enable mission readiness and deliver greater combat power.
