This past Friday, 11 students from the George Mason University Honors College received the Peraton Scholarship in National Security at the Spring Exhibition and Awards Ceremony.
With nearly 600 George Mason graduates currently employed at Peraton, the company has found a kindred spirit for innovation, continual education, and excellence through our partnership with the university. One example of this relationships is the Commonwealth Cyber Initiative (CCI) through George Mason. The apprenticeship provides students with training and hands-on applications to prepare them for a career in cybersecurity.
“George Mason has distinguished itself as one of the most diverse and inclusive incubators for the nation’s next generation of talent,” said Laila Salguero, our chief diversity, equity, and inclusion officer. “Through our partnership with Mason and other higher education institutions, Peraton combines the wisdom of academia with real world applications to help solve customers’ most critical challenges.”
