The Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) plays a pivotal role in the logistical support of the U.S. military and federal agencies, overseeing the provision of crucial materials, services, and supplies. Through its information operations known as J6, the DLA is responsible for providing cutting-edge IT solutions, including data management, telecommunications, and efficient computing services, that enable seamless operations for both the DoD and DLA.
Peraton won a $12 billion follow-on contract vehicle to support the DLA through the J6 Enterprise Technology Services (JETS) 2.0. This contract builds upon the company’s previous successful work and will enable the DLA to enhance its critical technological infrastructure, ensuring superior service delivery to the Department of Defense (DoD) and other federal customers. The JETS 2.0 initiative will support the evolution of DLA’s enterprise architecture, improve system integration, and develop new capabilities to address ongoing logistical and industrial challenges.
Peraton will support a range of initiatives designed to streamline operations, such as the Global Exchange Services, DLA Assist, Defense Agencies Initiative, and Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment, among many others. The company will also provide comprehensive IT services, including systems management, software development, data analysis, security, and continuous system enhancements, ensuring that DLA’s mission-critical systems are well-equipped to meet the needs of the warfighter and the broader federal community.
“Our team is honored to continue our work with the DLA and help drive the JETS 2.0 initiative forward,” said Tarik Reyes, president, Defense Mission & Health Solutions sector, Peraton. “We are committed to delivering high-quality, innovative technology solutions that support DLA’s logistical operations and ensure our nation’s defense infrastructure remains resilient, secure, and efficient.”
The JETS 2.0 contract ensures that the DLA will have access to state-of-the-art technologies, enabling them to maintain the highest standards of logistics and support for the U.S. military and other federal entities. Through its partnership with DLA, Peraton will contribute to the development of solutions that will enhance the operational efficiency and readiness of our nation’s defense infrastructure.
