On November 4, 2023, Peraton employees walked together at the 2023 Greater Washington Region Heart Walk, joining over a million people in 300+ cities across America in taking a stand against heart disease.
Starting with just six cardiologists committed to learning about heart disease in 1924, the American Heart Association has since grown into an organization of more than 35 million scientists, volunteers, and supporters, dedicated to improving heart health and reducing deaths from cardiovascular diseases and stroke. The Heart Walk is the American Heart Association’s premier event for raising funds to further cardiovascular research.
This year, more than 150 Peraton employees participated in the Heart Walk while raising over $20,000 to help fund lifesaving science.
