Today, Peraton joins Veteran Affairs (VA) in celebrating its landmark goal of enrolling one million veterans into the Million Veteran Program (MVP). MVP is a national research effort that studies how genetics, lifestyle, military experiences, and various exposures affect health and wellness in veterans. MVP is the VA’s largest research effort to improve healthcare for veterans and one of the largest research programs in the world studying genes and health.
Fueled by a workforce made up of nearly 20% veterans, this mission hit close to home for the Peraton team. The company’s online Recruitment, Enrollment, Engagement, and Feedback (REEF) web application provided a Software as a Service, GovCloud hosted solution to support the recruitment and enrollment of veterans into MVP. REEF has a unique integration with a multi-channel email campaign platform that facilitates national digital outreach to increase online enrollment for veterans and improve data quality. Since launching in 2019, Peraton’s REEF application has facilitated the electronic enrollment of 60,000 veterans through MVP without having to visit a physical location. This program helped the VA achieve their significant one million milestone on Nov. 8, 2023.
